A transparent office

Länsförsäkringar Jämtland (LFZ) has its head office at Stortorget in Östersund. During 2019-20, we designed a comprehensive refurbishment with a new layout, interior design and lighting for LFZ. The goal was to create "an office to long for".

A modern, welcoming and transparent office with room for joy and collaboration. The design concept is based on five different themes: the TOWN, the CITY, the SEA, the FOREST and the FIELD. As we move up through all the floors, we experience five themes that also symbolize different ways of working for how LFZ uses its premises. At the top of the building, a beautiful view of the Ovik Mountains opens up in the west.

The project is created with high sustainability requirements. All furnishings are certified with FSC, Swan or EU/Ecolabel.
