¡Hola Dolores!
The lighting concept is based on putting the bar with the bottles in the center and creating an intimate feeling at the tables. To highlight the interior - the burgundy color, the oiled oak, the zinc tables, the Spanish hand-painted tiles and the bottles at the bar - we used four different warm color temperatures, from 2400K to 3000K.
The body panel wall panels are highlighted by a faint uplight from LED strips mounted behind custom-made plinths.
The oak-clad back bar has recessed LED strips in the shelves for shimmering light through the bottles, highlighting the warmth of the oak.
As a pendant, the wall by the sofas is clad with arched wooden panels that frame antique mirrors. Behind the mirrors are hidden LED strips for atmospheric lighting.
The Rosso Lavante mosaic floor is brought to life by light from hidden LED strips beneath the plinths of the interior.
Spotlights mounted in suspended contact rails create intimate pools of light on the tables and bar counter. We chose very narrow steel spotlights to avoid spill light outside the table surfaces.
Mighty pendulum armatures with textile screens are a hallmark of the space, designed by the interior designer.
Dolores is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Friday. On Fridays and Saturdays, opening hours are extended by 2h until 3am, accompanied by a DJ and club atmosphere.
