Telenor's new, renovated office in Karlskrona is designed with a clear focus on well-being and sustainability, both socially and environmentally. Employee needs have been the central driving force in the design, based on extensive dialog through surveys, measurements and conversations. The result is an environment where colleagues can thrive and perform at their best. 

The office location offers incredible views of the sea and sky, contributing to a calm and inspiring atmosphere. We have also created several outdoor spaces, including a large terrace, to allow employees to take breaks and enjoy the fresh air. Greenery and plants, both indoors and outdoors, reinforce a sense of harmony and well-being. Social areas for socializing and recreation foster a strong sense of community, and ergonomics have been a key factor in everything from furniture to workstations.

Sustainability, history and future.

On the sustainability front, we have optimized the space needs of the business in a remarkable way. From using 20,000 sqm, we have now helped streamline and reduce the office space to 3,500 sqm without compromising on function or comfort. This saves energy and creates a dynamic working environment. By reusing both the building and most of the fittings and furniture, we have also accompanied the client in its commitment to a circular economy. Environmentally friendly materials are used throughout, and the whole creates a sense of pride and awareness among all employees about the sustainability of the business.

Architecturally and design-wise, the office reflects the company's long history and strong identity. The building, which has a deep Telenor history, is in a fantastic location where we have managed to utilize space and light in a unique way. The large open space faces the sea and sky, providing both a visual and mental openness. The design is a perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality, where color, shape and a history wall with mobiles reinforce the unique Telenor feeling.
