This villa is completely adapted to nature and to the land it stands on. It is organic despite its sharp angles. The inside feels harmonious and in tune with nature, the pines and the rocks.

Most of the lighting is recessed, both in the ceiling and the wall. Without taking over, the light emphasises the uniqueness of the shapes. As black as the cardboard cladding on the outside, as white is the inside. In the evening, the warm light from inside the black casing looks extra magical. The family's favourite private luminaires have been integrated into the architectural lighting, creating a personal and pleasant whole.
Villa Blåbär won the 1st prize in the international competition iD&A Awards "Villa of the year" London 2014.
